Privacy Statement

DataMotion, Inc. has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for this website:http://www.DataMotion.com.

We use “cookies” to maintain your browser session. Cookies are small bits of information that we store on your computer. There is no way for us to put any private information in a cookie that you haven’t already provided to us. We use cookies so we can tell your clicks from other user’s clicks. We also use your computer’s IP address. Your IP address is a way of identifying your computer and where you are located on the Internet. If you use a dial-up account then your IP address is probably different every time you connect to the Internet. We use your IP address in two ways. First, it is stored in the normal Web Server logs. These logs are only used for administrative purposes and are regularly purged. Second, every message you send or receive is marked with the IP address of your computer or firewall when you first accessed it. Our site’s registration form requires you to give us contact information (i.e., your name and e-mail address) and a userid. Your contact information is used to reach you when necessary and your userid is collected to distinguish your account from others. You may opt-out of receiving future mailings; see the Choice/Opt-Out section below.

Information Use

DataMotion does not sell or provide customer information to third parties for use in marketing third party products. The information you supply to us may be used to protect our customers, our third party vendors and us against harmful, wrongful or other unauthorized activity. As such DataMotion may disclose any information received or collected to a law enforcement agency or a government or regulatory entity to protect its rights and the rights of its affiliated companies, including without limitation, participating or conducting investigations of fraud, harassment or other types of unauthorized activities. If you access this site from a country other than the United States, DataMotion or third parties may transfer your information outside of the country in which you reside or work for use as described in this policy statement. Your submission of the information constitutes your consent to such transfer of your information.

Our site uses an order form for customers who register for an account. We use your credit card number to bill you for use of the service.

Security

This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.

Our servers are protected against hackers. In addition to physical and communication security, all messages and attachments that are stored in our database are encrypted, adding an additional layer of security against unauthorized viewing of messages. All messages are also stamped with their digital signature when they are sent. We recalculate this signature whenever the message is accessed to verify that no part of the message has changed.

Choice/Opt-Out

Although most customers tell us they appreciate receiving notice of these opportunities, we recognize the importance of providing you with choices. At any time after receiving an e-mail offer from DataMotion, you may request to discontinue receiving these offers. All e-mail offers that you receive from DataMotion will tell you how to decline further e-mail offers. Our partners may or may not have different policies.
