careMESH and DataMotion partner to maximize compliance with CMS Promoting Interoperability objectives at leading healthcare delivery organizations

RESTON, VA and FLORHAM PARK, NJ March 4, 2020careMESH and DataMotion, today announced that they have formed a partnership to integrate the careMESH National Provider Directory and Delivery Service with DataMotion Direct secure messaging. With this solution, hospitals can exchange referrals, discharge summaries, test results, patient records and other transitions of care with any provider in the country and in every case the recipient can receive the information digitally. This removes the burden from hospitals of managing provider directories, trying to reach providers who lack Direct protocol mailboxes, and managing day-to-day delivery challenges.

“We are helping hospitals streamline communication, better coordinate care with community providers, and improve CMS Promoting Interoperability (PI) measures,” said Dr. Peter Tippett, Founder and CEO of careMESH.  “We also give recipients the ability to control how they want to be contacted. In this industry, one size never fits all.”

“As hospitals seek to expand the digital exchange of patient health information, they all tell us how difficult it is to maintain a reliable provider directory and deliver the information outside their organization. careMESH and DataMotion solve these problems by leveraging a hospital’s existing Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, Direct messaging infrastructure, and the careMESH National Provider Directory and Delivery Service, to expand their reach and engagement with clinicians and healthcare organizations nationwide,” said Bob Janacek, CEO at DataMotion.

The partners are actively deploying the combined solution in a large regional health system in the Southeastern U.S., with the service poised for implementation in March 2020.  From within their EHR, the customer will be able to:

  • Look-up any provider using the careMESH National Provider Directory
  • Eliminate the risk of non-deliverable referrals and transitions of care
  • Meet CMS Promoting Interoperability targets for Digital Delivery and Reporting
  • Build closer relationships with Community Providers
  • Reduce clinical and administrative overhead
  • Save on Direct costs with DataMotion Direct

“We are excited to prove the impact of our combined solution and are already queuing up discussions with other regional health systems with similar needs and interests,” stated Tom Donhauser, Healthcare Director at DataMotion.

The partners will be conducting live demonstrations in the careMESH exhibit during HIMSS 2020 in Orlando, FL on March 10th – 12th. Find them in the Intelligent Health Pavilion, exhibit #7273-35.
