DataMotion and Altra Federal Credit Union to Present at the CSI Conference, Sharing Insight on Secure Cloud Communications

announced that its co-founder and CTO,
Bob Janacek, and DataMotion customer, Brian Boettcher, Vice President of
Information Technology and CIO, Altra Federal Credit Union, will present at the
CSI Annual 2010 conference, which will be held October 26-29, 2010 in
Washington, D.C. The presentation, titled
“Altra Federal Credit Union Gets a Competitive Edge:
A Case Study on Secure Cloud Communications,” will take place on October
29, 2010, 5:00 p.m.
CSI Annual 2010 is the leading IT security management conference
on the east coast and is designed for information security and IT professionals
of all levels. The comprehensive program
focuses on both technological as well as management solutions.

This
presentation will show how Altra Federal Credit Union gained better visibility
into email and data exchanges between the credit union and its members and

information directly from Altra’s website – without needing additional software
or encryption keys. Altra Federal Credit Union saves time and money, is

Janacek has over twenty years of security and software
design experience and is the architect, designer and original developer of the
products and services that comprise DataMotion's Managed Information Delivery
platform. His vision keeps DataMotion on
the cutting-edge of technology, while his ongoing communications with customers
ensure that the products integrate seamlessly with their business
processes. Previously, Janacek was the lead designer and
developer of Safetynet's award-winning suite of data security products, and has
worked closely with the NSA Rainbow Series, DoD Orange Book and FIPS security standards
mandated by the Federal government. Janacek
holds a BS in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of
Technology, and an MBA in Marketing from Rutgers University.
Boettcher
is responsible for all IT functions at Altra, including telecommunications,
data and cyber security, and networking functions. Prior to Altra, Boettcher was employed at
Dairyland Power Cooperative for ten years where he was the Director of
Information Technology and was responsible for the IT requirements of the
business. During his tenure, Boettcher
implemented rigorous security controls through a comprehensive governance
program. Earlier in his career,
Boettcher held technology positions with Fastenal Company, a major national
industrial supply company and Marshfield Clinic, one of the largest private,
multi-specialty group practices in the country. Boettcher started his career at IBM, where he held various positions
from computer programming to management. Boettcher earned
a BS in Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering
from the University of Wisconsin.
