Bob Janacek, Founder and CTO of DataMotion, to Speak at the CAMP IT Conference, Sharing Insight on Ad Hoc Communications
June 03, 2010
Morristown, NJ, June 3,
2010 - DataMotion,
Inc., a provider of secure information delivery solutions, today
announced that its founder and CTO, Bob
Janacek, will present at the CAMP IT Conference, which will be held on June 10,
2010 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois. Janacek’s session entitled “Ad-Hoc
Communications: How to Reduce the Risk” will
begin at 1:30 PM.
This
one-day CAMP IT Conference on Enterprise/Risk Security Management –
Leakage/Loss/Metrics, presents strategies for adopting a comprehensive IT GRC
(Governance/Risk Management/Compliance) approach to managing information
adhering to business needs. Janacek’s presentation will explore the issues with
one-off, ad hoc communications, their impact on security and how to ensure
solutions meet compliance and governance needs.
Janacek
said, “These types of communications fly under the radar of corporate IT policy
control, making visibility and governance difficult at best. This has profound implications for data security
and regulatory compliance requirements such as those mandated by HIPAA, GLBA,
PCI SS, FERPA, PIPEDA and the UK Data Protection Act. IT managers need to
protect their company’s data and reputation. Even the smallest compliance-related infractions can mean a damaged
reputation, extensive audits, expensive financial penalties and litigation.”
DataMotion’s
solutions secure, track and automate data exchanges - including ad hoc -
between businesses and their constituents while also helping them increase
regulatory compliance and mitigate risk.
Janacek has over twenty years of security and software
design experience and is the architect, designer and original developer of the
products and services that comprise DataMotion's Managed Information Delivery
platform. His vision keeps the DataMotion
technology on the cutting-edge of technology, while his ongoing communications
with customers ensure that the products are easy to use and to manage. His
foresight helped transform the original software solution for the corporate
market into a managed security platform, which he has followed with a series of
modules to enhance various aspects of the system's functionality. Previously, Janacek was the lead designer and
developer of Safetynet's award-winning suite of data security products. Since
1992, he has worked closely with the NSA Rainbow Series and DoD Orange Book
standards for C2 Security mandated by the Federal government. Janacek holds a BS in Computer Science
from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and an MBA in Marketing from
Rutgers University.
